October 2014

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

This month’s blog is dedicated  to the beautiful warriors who face the battles head on.  There are fantastic stories of survivors and glorious memories of ancestors.  Here’s to all the men and women in the battle and the families and loved ones who support them.

I have witnessed first hand the strength and faith it takes to fight this battle and I know first hand the requirements of the support team.

My wife, through a routine health exam found out she had Breast Cancer for the 2nd time.  She had no family history of Breast Cancer, she was a health nut, worked out, and ate sensibly.  Ten years ago the cancer was biopsied, and fought with radiation.  This time included surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation.  We were blessed and relieved to hear our Dr team declare her CANCER FREE!

Make and keep your health appointments.  GET YOUR MAMMOGRAM.  Please pass this on to your family and loved ones.

Cheers to you all.

There is always more to the story.
